One of the innovative designs introduced by everyone late in WWII.  This was tested but never saw combat.  It is a striking airplane design. The kit is an old one with raised panel lines, that keeps getting reissued, sometimes in "fantasy" editions.  It was fun to build, but whimsy did set in here and there…. …for instance, the nosewheel is from the Spirit of St Louis.
